This came during a time when I really started focusing on who I really am, WHAT I am, why I belong, etc. - all the questions that I was occasionally told were pointless by people whom I looked to for these important answers. Following little support from those around me on my impossible quest for knowledge of the unknown (the self) and the "true" nature of things, I became obsessed with introspection about my mind itself. This led then led to the creation of this abstract description of consciousness.

The daily life of a teenager.

Step by step, the mask faded away. And she herself appeared. Her sad, depressed self whom she hated. She tried to look away from the mirror but couldn't. She once again made the same realization she made every evening. She was imperfect. This is something like a short story... I think many girls can associate and see a piece of themselves in this story about a depressed girl with a very low self esteem which uses the power of makeup to change herself to the liking of society and her herself. About myself, I can say that I love reading and have always loved to make stories up in my head but have never had the courage to really start writing. I see Wattpad as a good way to start and get constructive feedback in order to improve but also rate my writing skills. I would be more than happy if you readers would give me feedback on my writing, expression and ideas. If this "short story" is liked by you guys and maybe even gets a few votes, I would be overjoyed and likely even make what I have written so far one of many chapters of a book. If you think this is a good idea, feel free to comment ideas for the plot. I've got an idea already, but I'm open for new ideas too! That being said, read my story heheh :)
