I dreamt of us last night. Of you leaning close to me, bridging the gap and then kissing me passionately; with your tongue digging deeper, longing, asking for a response, a confirmation of my true feelings for you and a declaration of your feelings for me - or so I thought. It was so vivid, that when I opened my eyes I looked around the room only to realize I'm somewhere else, I'm now in the reality, not with you. So, it dawned on me, the bitter truth waiving it's middle finger in the air, calling me an "Idiot!". Asking me the same question it has been asking me for more than a year now "Why?" And the follow up question, "Are you not tired running in circles?!" "He left you at your most vulnerable moment! When you needed him the most, he left you and your unborn child!" "So snap out of dreamland before I slap you with a tennis racket!" My inner arguments were halted when my Mom stepped in my room and shouted, "It's past 3pm now! Get up or you'll be late!"

Just like the saying "Behind every person lies a story" Behind this story lies a person. This is short and probably something that I won't come back to. I hope this can reach some of you. It's not supposed to be a straight-forward-easy-read type of thing, it's supposed to make you think. Think about the words, how they're used. There's not much details of where the main character's at, but that's on purpose.
