Kilian is a 15 year old boy and practicing alchemist, having devoted his entire life into studying the subject and marking his place in the world with it. The one thing holding him back would be his single mother forbidding the alchemy altogether. So when a mysterious rumor about an alchemist using a philosopher's stone for nefarious purposes catches Kilian's attention, he takes it upon himself to prove his mother wrong, find the culprit, and uncover a supposed myth along the way. But how much information is too much...? (This takes place before the events of FMAB. It's mainly OC centric, but will have plenty of canon characters too)
