When Fiona ends up at St. Lawrence Academy according to her mom's wishes, she isn't expecting what she finds. She can handle the school's private plane, that the academy is located on its own private island and she can even take the fact that she's the only transfer student they've had in years. What she can't handle is the fact she's the only human in school. Because St. Lawrence Academy isn't just for learning math, English, and art. No, it's a school for the supernatural to learn how to fit in among humans. Forced to hide what she is and pretend to be a dryad, something she'd never even heard of before, Fiona has to do her best to fit in or lose the only place she has to go.

Kenna Gale is a beautiful seal maiden (Silkie or Selkie) who lives on the coastline of the Scottish lowlands near the border of Scotland and England. To create another creature like herself, Kenna must make love to a mortal man, then drown a female mortal soul, so that her soul could be reborn inside of Kenna's child. Otherwise, Kenna's child will be a mortal seal pup. This story is shorter than many of my stories, but I think the quality is better.

This is a story of a human who accidentally ventured into the realm of the enchanted creatures of our folk stories. No, he is not a half-blood. No, he is not needed to save their realm. This is not that kind of story. This is a story about making choices, and what it is like to see the unseen and live with them. This is actually my take on our story as human beings from the unseen's perspective. Welcome to Thera! Author's Note: This is a work of fiction, and to the best of the author's knowledge, a product of the author's imagination and is therefore owned by the author. The author wishes to thank the different references available online about the myths and legends used in this story, especially Edain McCoy's "A Witch's Guide to Faery Folk." The author twisted some of these, however, in order to fit the story. Some parts are inspired from the video games and movies that the author has played and watched over the years especially the Tales series, Golden Sun series, and the works of Tolkien and Rowling. Credits go to them and the people behind these fantastic games. They have contributed a lot in order for the author to picture a world where magical beings exist. The author tried his best to form a non-plagiarized work. Any exact resemblance to an existing work was purely accidental. Please inform the author immediately in such cases by sending a private message. Thank you. Started publishing the first chapter: November 03, 2015 Taken down on February 05, 2017 but republished the first page on February 06, 2017. Taken down again on October 20, 2020. The author needs to remember where he parked his pen. Republished the first chapter on October 22, 2020. Chapters will be released every week until the story is over. Seacliff is now only available on Inkitt. In 2019, Aidan is a kilt-wearing tour guide on the cobblestone streets of Edinburgh. In 1919, Saoirse is a Great War nurse who's got nothing left to live for - until the sea brings a naked, unconscious man to her feet. Not one easily shocked after caring for the most broken of men in France, Saoirse takes the stranger in and tends to his wounds. Except the man is all kinds of unusual and she begins to question whether he even is a man at all. Is the grief driving her mad or is there more to the world than she ever thought possible? Saoirse hopes to find answers in her Aunt Aoife's diaries, since the gentle giant she rescued from the sea has no recollection of how he ended up there in the first place. * Editors' Choice, December 2020 * an open novella contest entry which grew into a ~75k-word novel completed * prompt: "When something tragic happens, it's often said we lose a piece of ourselves. Moira knows there has to be a reason why she was forced to leave Ireland after her father's drowning, and the secrets her mother keeps aren't calming her curiosity and desire to learn the truth. Her only link to the past is her best friend, Cillian, and even he has grown quiet as Moira's eighteenth birthday approaches. But when Cillian finally agrees to take her back to Ireland, and Moira sees the fierce waves and the seals that watch her from the rocks, the stories hidden from her suddenly begin to make sense. Her family has been feuding with the selkies, the seal people that surround the village, for years, causing the numerous drownings that lead her mother to fear the water so much. Moira can end the issue - she's supposed to marry a selkie prince once she's eighteen, forever tying her people with the seals. Moira has only just discovered the life hidden from her, and going to live with the seals would mean giving up the life she's always wanted to live. She doesn't want to give herself up to the sea. It will have to come for her.

E quando seu coração voltou ao estado normal, teve uma única certeza que lhe confortou. De uma forma muito estranha, ela pertencia àquele lugar. When a dead mermaid washes up in Myrithonia's capital city, it represents an escape from poverty and a chance to return to the kingdom's glory days when every backwater market sold harpy wings and griffon meat by the bushel. Or at least it would, if the mermaids could be found. But the residents of Sirens Bay, heart of the kingdom's former mermaid-fishery, swear the creatures died off decades ago. They refuse to cast even a single net... and sabotage anyone who dares try. Frustrated, the king sends his soldiers to shake information out of the residents, but his men are attacked by something lurking in the woods around the village. Something blood thirsty and inhuman. Clearly something is amiss in Sirens Bay, and the king has no choice but to send you, his most trusted spy, to ferret out the locals' secrets. Step carefully and you just may discover what they're hiding... and even fall in love along the way. But make one wrong move and you won't only damn the kingdom to poverty, you'll lose your very soul.
