Kenna Gale is a beautiful seal maiden (Silkie or Selkie) who lives on the coastline of the Scottish lowlands near the border of Scotland and England. To create another creature like herself, Kenna must make love to a mortal man, then drown a female mortal soul, so that her soul could be reborn inside of Kenna's child. Otherwise, Kenna's child will be a mortal seal pup. This story is shorter than many of my stories, but I think the quality is better.

Amias is a selkie and his father wants him to do everything his way, when he runs away he washes up on a beach, his pelt beside him and a strange girl looking over him, this is when he meets calla, a human woman who helps him, will romance blossom or will he lure her to the sea never to be seen again.

SYNOPSIS Osvaldo has an affinity for water; he can swim at high speeds and he can hold his breath for hours. Despite this, he's not allowed to come close to the sea, because doing so could be dangerous. One day, the boy is forced to break that promise and from that point on he is going to have to face the consequences. The sea's call is tempting, and if Osvaldo lets it dominate him, he could enter the ocean and never go back to his home. Once there was a Selkie who was more danger than woman who was trapped by a man who didn't know the difference between love and control.'

Many ancient and mythical beasts which used to roam both worlds died in the Winter War, their spirits leaving the Material World and bestowing their knowledge, power and strength to those they choose. Beasts still do roam the Other World, but the moment they pass on, their spirits pick a child to grow with, and since the lifespans of the beasts have shortened after the massive war, but the birth rate has also increased, the humans of the Other World decided to split into many kingdoms and live in peace. Three months after the infamous Gellert Grindelwald escapes during his transport to Azkaban, the Ministry of Magic finds themselves in yet another uproar, when a witch that was said to have gone missing over a decade ago, washes up on shore alive. Theseus Scamander is the Auror called onto the scene when he discovers that the woman is an old classmate of his, Tyne Ayers. Her skin is marked with scars and burns and yet, she refuses to speak, and the only indicator they have towards any answers, is the coat of a seal lying at her feet. Knowing the ways of the Selkie, Theseus collects her coat and by doing so, Tyne is bound to follow him. She is placed under his care, however, Theseus takes it upon himself to call upon his younger brother for help. Newt Scamander has never been known for his communication skills, but under the circumstances, Theseus believes his brother is the best person for the job. However, the timing couldn't be worse, as the events surrounding Grindelwald drama continue to unfold, roping both brothers in. But it seems Tyne's story may be more involved than they were aware of.

Selkies are found in Irish and Scottish folklore, shape-shifting creatures who take the form of a seal in the sea and a human on land. To take human form, a selkie must cast off its magical sealskin. If the skin is lost or stolen, the selkie is doomed to remain a human. If a human man captures the skin of a selkie woman she is forced to remain as his bride. But if she should find her skin, she will always return to the sea-sometimes taking her children with her. The Island is a contemporary twist on this ancient story.
