Seventeen-year-old Vienna suffers from severe depression and often slips into extreme depressive episodes. In her darkest time, a girl named Rowan, who she describes as perfect, comes into her life and flips it upside down. Her episodes have suddenly gone away and she is the happiest she's ever been. She starts to depend on Rowan for her happiness. But when Rowan becomes manipulative, Vienna begins to push her closest friends and family away. Caught in Rowan's trap, Vienna must go through her own journey of self-love to get the ones she truly loves, including herself, back.
