It was caused by the Killing Curse and the Selwyns were the only wizards within a twenty mile radius. What will happen when Rae is sent to live with the Malfoys? What about when she goes to Hogwarts? Silas Selwyn's character was of my own creation but it is hinted in her books that there may have been a Death Eater called Selwyn.
