Her parents were afraid she had been killed, but her siblings knew otherwise. Jaune Arc, the second oldest of the family, was the closest to Mira and was devastated that she left. When he dreams about his last memory of her, it drives him to find her and prevent anyone else from being hurt. The leaders of the kingdoms place their hope for progress in an elaborate plan called Project GALE. Celsius Terra is one of the few females in the male-dominated Beacon Academy. She lived with her family separated from the city, and her skill comes from talent and self-discipline. At Beacon, it seems she has the most to learn. Celsius is thrust into a team CRLN, a group of strong and sometimes conflicting personalities and shoved into the world of Beacon politics. To make matters worse, as increasing numbers of hunters and huntresses disappear, Academy students are expected to pick up high-level missions and assignments. Team CRLN, as a first-year team, is exempt from many of these, until by a strange turn of events and Professor Ozpin's confusing logic, they are shoved into a mission that happens to be the very reason hunters are disappearing in the first place- Codename: Project GALE.

Weiss finds herself worried about the leader of team RWBY, who has become distant in the past few days. In an attempt to find out what could be wrong, she follows a trail of red rose petals to the ladder and finds herself watching the younger girl's actions. Upon realizing that following the petals may have been a mistake, and that she may have overstepped, a familiar voice calls out to her as she's turning to leave. Weiss never thought about warming up to people, but maybe just this once is fine...
