Amina est étudiante en 2e année de médecine à l'université de Malaga, en Espagne. Après cette année chargée où elle combinait les cours a son job de serveuse, elle décide enfin de prendre des vacances et retourner à son pays de coeur: le Sénégal. Paradoxalement Amina retourne dans un pays où, de milliers de jeunes rêvent de rejoindre le continent européen pour une meilleure vie, dans des embarcations de fortune La jeune femme sera face à des évènements à la fois touchants et bouleversants qu'elle tentera de surmonter grâce à son entourage qui lui avait tant manqué
