Jo Torres has known Nic Salazar all her life-the annoyingly hyperactive boy across the street who's always been more than a stranger but less than a friend. When a credit conflict lands Jo the unexpected role of "ball girl" for the high school soccer team, she's suddenly thrust into Nic's world. As team captain, Nic proposes a deal: he'll help her navigate her new duties if she agrees to be his wingman in pursuing her best friend, Violet. Just as Jo settles into this arrangement, newcomer Jessie Cruz joins the team, igniting a spark in Jo she thought had long since faded. After two years of numbness and abandoning her passion for guitar and music, Jo feels something stirring again. As Jo and Nic spend early mornings, long practices, and altering moments together, their simple deal grows complicated. Senior year unfolds in a whirlwind of revelations and chaos, testing old bonds and forging unexpected new connections.

Or will they end up burned? *** Highest rank #4 in teen fiction #12 in romance #5 in love #2 in humor ••••••••••••• Reviews: One of the best books I've read !!! Honestly the whole concept of this book to the very last detail was amazing and emotional !!💞 loved every bit of it - SamXx14 this story is my all-time favorite. It literally took a 180-degree turn in the middle of the book. I was so shocked. I thought I was gonna be that typical book, turns out it wasn't. - trfffffffnfff This book was amazing it had drama, and romance and had me on the edge of my seat waiting for what would happened next. Then it had my extremely happy at some points, mad at some points, and sad at other points. But overall this book wasn't like any romance book I've ever read ❤️ -officialpyta Copyright

Thomas is in his last year of high school. He's captain of the basketball team, pre-emptively invited to all the parties this year, and about to finally ask out his crush, Mia. It's gonna be a great year. Bailey is his best friend. He's smart, studious and loyal. He's also on the basketball team and he knows Thomas better than anyone. Oh, and he's in love with Thomas. That ought to make things interesting. ~ "Not funny, Tom." "Very funny, Bails." He raises his eyebrows in amusement at the nickname. "Bails?" "Well what would you call you?" I ask defensively. "I don't know. Lee?" "Do you want me to call you Lee?" "Nah." "Then that wasn't a very helpful suggestion, was it?" "It doesn't have to be. I shouldn't have to come up with my own nickname." "Well how am I supposed to do it?!" "I came up with yours!" "It's literally the first syllable of my name. It's not that amazing." He shrugs nonchalantly. "I don't hear anyone else calling you Tom." "That's because..." Huh. I actually don't know why that is. I don't let anyone else call me Tom because I have some vague memory of my father calling me Tom, but somehow it's okay when Bailey does it. Because Bailey's nothing like him. He would never leave me. **This is a spin off of Since Forever but can be read as a stand-alone.

Wren Calloway and Dakota Ashby have grown up in each other's lives whether they liked it or not. Their parents have been best friends since college. Somewhere along the way, the friendship between Wren and Dakota splintered into something tense and unspoken, with sharp remarks and practiced indifference hiding whatever used to be there. Wren isn't an outcast - she's smart, kind, a kind of lowkey student at Willowridge High - but she keeps most people at a distance. Her real world lives in her songwriting notebook and late-night piano sessions, where she can safely say all the things she won't out loud. She's good at hiding how out of control she sometimes feels. Dakota is the school's golden boy - charismatic, athletic, always in control - or at least that's what everyone thinks. But behind the perfect image is a guy under pressure to live up to expectations he's not sure he wants. And the one person who never bought into his perfect act? Wren Taylor. When a group project at school - followed by an unexpected family arrangement - forces Dakota and Wren to spend real time together again, the walls they've both carefully built start to crack. Through late-night conversations, old jokes that still land, and the quiet pull of two people who've known each other forever, something new begins to take shape. Something real. But just as they start to unravel the truth of who they are - and who they might be to each other - the past resurfaces, and old wounds threaten to break them before they really begin. Set against the backdrop of senior year, this is a story about letting your guard down, rewriting what you thought you knew, and falling in love with the person who saw through you all along. *** TW - This book contains depictions of eating disorder behaviours such as body dysmorphia and purging. Chapters referencing these behaviours will have their own trigger warning. Please take care whilst reading.
