Growing up, I always heard people telling my dad why is he teaching me about survival. What's the point? Those skills won't be useful in this modern day of age. Why would you need to know how to use weapons like a Bow or tell the difference between some planets or fruits? But my old man never listened and good thing he didn't. My mom on the other hand taught me basic life skills I need in my day to day life like sewing and cooking. My mom was definitely more of an indoor, creative person so it's a mystery how she ended up with an outdoorsy, adventure man like my dad. But hey they say opposites attract and they are definitely proof of that. But I was never one for love. It can get complicated and it doesn't seem like something I would need during high school of all times. High school is already complicated without the need of getting romance involved. But who knows, maybe that's entirely true and I might change my mind or maybe not. Only time will tell.

I see a lot of stories where the reader is just as smart as Senku or has the same affiliation for science and I wanted to put something new in the pool of Senku x readers.

Seiko Ishigami, trapped in a mineral shell that felt like an eternal coffin, never stopped counting. One second, two seconds, three seconds. Time was her only possession, the constant rhythm of her mental pulse against the absolute darkness. Daughter of Byakuya Ishigami, she carried in her blood the curiosity and stubbornness of science. While the world transformed, she kept the flame of consciousness alive, refusing to allow erosion to win the battle against her brain. Outside her prison, the Earth no longer belonged to humans. Three thousand seven hundred and nineteen years precisely was the amount of time Mai Hanami had spent trapped in stone along with the rest of humanity. But luckily, her lab partner from the 21st century, Senku Ishigami had found her statue and brought her to the miracle cave. What is rebuilding civilization without a medic after all?
