A research project for school about sensory processing difficulties. It goes over what it's like, what it is, ways to diagnose, how to help someone with it, and more. I chose to research this topic as a way to learn about myself.

As a general rule, very few people who do not have autism have any idea how the condition actually affects people. That being said, this is nobody's fault considering the fact that very few people, those affected included, fully understand the condition. However, I would like to explain what aspects of it that I can. This is something that I have wanted to do for a while now and I finally worked up the nerve to do after I was told that, "everyone is a little autistic, just like everyone is a little gay." I feel like the person who said this didn't mean anything bad by it, just that we're all a little different but it jolted me into action and this book was born. I will be making a few posts about certain aspects of the condition myself, but I am also here to answer any questions that people may have.

Okay so I'm Hyperfixated on Criminal Minds and I need to write this because I'm Autistic and so is Spencer Reid and Penelope Garcia and knowone can tell me otherwise, anyway I jsut wanted to write short oneshots about being Autistic for Penelope and Reid because I love them.

They wore headphones throughout the whole entrance exam, didn't make eye contact with anyone, and ignored when people wanted to to talk. What is up with this guy? And why can't I stop thinking about him? Who has a crush on him? Does he like them back? Idk really what I have planned yet. I just want more representation for my people :) I like relating to characters and there isn't many canonically autistic characters. Obviously Izuku is shows many traits of someone with autism but I want to dive a little deeper. The character I'm writing is autistic and has ADHD. Update: I'm gonna start writing again but I really don't want to right the character as a girl because my preference is nonbinary/trans character plus autistic people are more likely to be trans so yeah.
