Sentimental Stories

These are just small pieces of our days. Bus rides, cold mornings, the kind of talk that slips out without any plan behind it. Nothing big. Nothing that would matter to anyone else. Just the things we noticed before they faded. I wrote them down here because, well... if I didn't, they'd vanish quickly like a wave of the sea does. One moment they're right in front of you, and then they're gone, tucked somewhere in the past where you can't reach them anymore. Maybe putting them here doesn't save anything, not really. But it lets me look at them for a little longer. All I can do is catch them for a moment - the light, the voices, the way the city feels when it breathes - and leave them on these pages. These stories were ours. These quiet seconds, these almost-forgotten scenes. But, it doesn't matter because they belonged to us for a moment. And now, they belong to you for a moment too. These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. Here, I want to share who I am. That's ... probably all ... that I need to say.

The bestman story is about the friendship between the two men is then told as a flashback: Vimal wealthy multimillionaire but quadriplegic (paralysis caused by illness) and his assistant Sanjana, are interviewing candidates to be his live-in caretaker. Raju, a candidate, has no ambitions to get hired. He is just there to get a signature showing he was interviewed and rejected in order to continue receiving his welfare benefits. But he got select to take care Vimal. Next day Raju returns and learns that he is on a trial period for the live-in caretaker job but without interest. Later learns Vimal disability and accompanies him in every moment of his life, assisting him in all the ways needed. Vimal discloses the reason behind his paralysis and how he lost his wife in a Paragliding accident. Later Raju gets close to his boss and took more care of him. The rest of the story is to be read which is highly emotional and heart touching one.
