Leafy had a lot of traumatic things in her life. After marrying Firey she found it hard to ever be without him. She has depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and separation anxiety. Firey knows this, and also that medications and therapy generally don't help her, and despite that, he decides he'll never do anything to hurt her.
