Growing up means learning to fail. Ash Ketchum has done it more than most could handle; Six years, five setbacks, and one final heartbreaking finish at the Kalos League... The journey felt as though it was unfinished. Saying "goodbye" had never hurt so bad. It wasn't just another group of friends...it was family. He had watched Serena, the once reserved and unsure girl, run back up the escalator in a last chance effort to explain how she felt. She showed courage. Bravery. She had grown; It was time for Ash to grow as well. Her actions shot something like lightning through him. Electricity stronger than Pikachu's thunderbolt. A drive to be the very best he could be and show the world the bond between him and his Pokemon. Deep inside, and unbeknownst to him, her actions unlocked a door never opened before. A feeling of true unconditional love. He rode that high as far as it could take him. He won his first real title in Alola. She made it big in Hoenn. But it didn't feel like it mattered, and it sure didn't make him feel whole. It came to him in a dream... A do-over. The Kalos region. The Kalos Crew. With friends like family, and a woman who made him feel invincible, losing is not on the table.

This story is obviously associated with the anime but does not follow the storyline. Ash is an aspiring young 12 year old trainer and this book portrays his determination and self confidence through which he wishes to conquer his dream, and a very special girl's heart. He encounters countless obstructions in his path to his goal. Read on to find out if he manages to win it all or fails in his attempt.
