EsmereldaMidnight
They say a serpent's kiss is sweet,
A poison drips, a love deceit,
Its velvet tongue, a whispered lie,
Beneath the moon, where shadows die.
It curls and coils, so sly, so near,
A touch so soft, it stirs a fear.
But in its breath, a burning flame,
That flickers low, yet calls your name.
In garden's bloom, where roses fall,
A lover's vow, a serpent's call.
Their kiss, a trap, a deadly spell,
That winds the heart and rings the knell.
Yet still we chase the venom's bliss,
Drawn to the danger, the serpent's kiss.
For in its taste, we seek the grace,
Of longing wrapped in sweet embrace.
