Then Cocolia became Supreme Guardian, Serval left the Architects, and everything went to hell in a Frostbite Overclocked handbasket. Now, Serval fixes heaters and cracks jokes while pretending she doesn't care, and Cocolia drowns herself in work, pretending she doesn't remember. But forgetting is hard when the past keeps showing up in the form of sharp words, lingering stares, and the kind of tension that could melt the Eternal Freeze. Between guilt-ridden glances, misplaced touches, and one very persistent IPC representative, the lines between duty, resentment, and something painfully close to love start to blur. Cocolia swears she doesn't care anymore. Serval swears she's over it. Neither of them is a good liar.
