Hayden Mae Jackson has seizures and has a difficult day at school after she blacked out. She, of course, has a service dog to allert her when she is about to have a seizure. Her dog is a white Golden Retriever named Phoniex. One day, when Phoenix isn't around, because she is at the vet, Hayden is about to have a seizure when Grayson the school, "bad boy," but has a soft place for certain people, sees that she is about to have a seizure and rushes to her before she seizes and he puts her head in his lap. Will a new relationship spark? What will her brother- Jasper- have to say about Grayson ? When Jay was about 1 years old he was abused by his dad and brother. When the police were called Hank Voight went to Jay's house and found one year Jay getting beat by his father and bother. His mother died a few months after Jay was born due to cancer. Later that day Hank adopted Jay as his own kid. 25 years later Jay found out he had a 2 year old daughter with the ex he was abused by.

The 10th school he's been to, the 8th town he's lived in, the second country he's moved to, the 0th time he's liked it. Epilepsy is the curse of 15 year old Alex Walker, the only few gifts in his life being: his mum; his brother, Eliot; his sister, Eleanor (they were twins); his Shollie (German Shepard/Border Collie) service dog, Clover; and his headphones. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at his first seizure when he was 4, his 6 year old siblings had found him seizing on the bathroom floor after looking at the flickering bathroom light for too long. His father had died when he was 5 of cancer, setting of a month of multiple seizures a week. His mum had bought Clover, his service dog, when he was 7, as he was small and energetic and she couldn't always keep track of him. At the same time, she had also became a doctor and worker night shifts at the hospital, leaving her asleep most of the day. His siblings had inherited their fathers blonde hair and mothers blue eyes, while he had inherited his mother's light brown hair and father's green eyes. His siblings, Eliot and Eleanor, had been born twins, and claimed sibling telepathy. Eliot had been born 20 minutes before Eleanor, always using that in their arguments, but he still never won, the only things they agreed on were helping their mum and little brother. When Alex had been born, it was chaos. He was going to be born feet first (a big no no) and with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck (even bigger and deadlier no no), so she had had an emergency c-section. Oh yeah, and he had also been 3 1/2 weeks early, so he had to be incubated for 3 days as he was so small and fragile. When they brought him home, they had to take turns keeping an eye on him, only being able to stop when he was 2 months old. His siblings were born on January 1st, while he had been born March 2nd. He had been homeschooled by a tutor at his house from the ages 5 - 7, at 7, he was allowed at school, with his dog as well, of course.

Grace is a pretty, kind girl of the age of twenty. She lives with her friend, Danielle, and service dog, Rex. Grace is human, but unknowingly lives within the Shooting Star Pack. Grace is also unable to walk, therefore, she uses a wheelchair to get around. Grace has always wanted to have someone in her life that would love her with all his heart, besides her dog. She knows Rex loves her, and she loves him. But she wants a man whose love for her would be as constant as the stars above. Sometimes, she feels like she isn't worth love. Like no one in their right mind would ever love her because she can't walk. Danielle always tells her it isn't true, but she doesn't seem to listen. Only one man can change her thinking. Hudson is a kind, handsome man of the age of twenty-two. He is one of the warriors for the Shooting Star Pack. He comes from a long line of warriors. His father, grandfather, great grandfather, and so on were all warriors of this great pack. Hudson is a good warrior. But something is missing in his life. Lately he feels incomplete. He feels a piece of himself is missing. He doesn't know what, though. Hudson hasn't really thought about his mate. He used to, but after he became a warrior, he was too focused on training and defending the pack to think about her. Hudson always puts being a warrior first before everything else. Before himself, his friends, everything. His friend, Mark sees this and tries to reason with him, but he doesn't listen. Will Grace find the love she yearns for? Will Hudson ever feel satisfied and complete? Will he get his priorities straight? Will Grace finally see she is worth being loved, wheelchair or not?
