But humans change so quickly in the past months, there are many new gangs and more horrible people than there once were. The gangs are either 'good' or horrible. People are using other humans as objects. One evil human made a horrible mistake that started the apocalypse.

Aspen, an 18 year old high school senior struggles with her mental illness. Unable to escape its unrelenting grasp for what is supposed to be the best year of high school, she works courageously with her service dog, Alaska to fight her inner demons, yet she still struggles. His siblings, Eliot and Eleanor, had been born twins, and claimed sibling telepathy. Eliot had been born 20 minutes before Eleanor, always using that in their arguments, but he still never won, the only things they agreed on were helping their mum and little brother. When Alex had been born, it was chaos. He was going to be born feet first (a big no no) and with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck (even bigger and deadlier no no), so she had had an emergency c-section. Oh yeah, and he had also been 3 1/2 weeks early, so he had to be incubated for 3 days as he was so small and fragile. When they brought him home, they had to take turns keeping an eye on him, only being able to stop when he was 2 months old. His siblings were born on January 1st, while he had been born March 2nd. He had been homeschooled by a tutor at his house from the ages 5 - 7, at 7, he was allowed at school, with his dog as well, of course.
