The life of Eliana Bloom (age 18) changed completely when the king of Everwood, threw her town out of the economic loop in her 6th year. Years passed in a gray cloud. Until today. Eliana decides to end the poverty the king had sown in Havers. On the TV, the king announced that 5 maids were being sought to ensure that the princesses, who were to marry the prince, would not lack anything. With her small bag on her shoulders, Eliana sets off for the beloved town of Everwood. Determined, she sets out, but when she finds out that not all of the royal family, especially Prince Olivier, is evil she begins to doubt whether she wants to return to Havers. Not to mention the mysterious guard that gives her the creeps. Or is it something else?

Started out as a short story on my school's newspaper and has turned into a full blown novel! The Drunken Bard Tavern, a hyped up bar with alcohol proofs way passed the King's allowance, is the most well-known tavern in all four kingdoms. Mia Pennyworth, the serving wench at the tavern, wishes nothing more than to leave the Bard. However, it's the only job she's able to get without an education and such low status. One day, a strange young man by the name of Finlay appears at the bar, working on papers amidst the chaos of the drunk guests. When she joins him on an adventure to find the artifact, what exactly will she find about herself and the world around her?

These poems started off as a WWI project for school, but I realized how they still relate to the war going on today. This poetry is nothing incredibly amazing or special, it's just meant to show the brave men and women serving our country that we're still thinking of them back home.
