Aurora is a rising singer with her first Grammy nominations, a sold-out tour behind her, and a career that's just getting started. She's focused, a little guarded, and way too busy for distractions - especially the charming, older, talk-show-host kind. Then comes her SNL debut. And Seth Meyers. What starts as a couple of harmless jokes and backstage conversations quickly turns into something she can't quite name. He's witty, recently single, and completely disarming. She's trying to keep things professional, but the banter is addictive, the timing all wrong, and the connection kinda undeniable. Told with humor, vulnerability, and way too many almost-moments.

Seth's loved Amy since he sat in on her show in Chicago. Now he's working on SNL with her every day. There's a thousands reasons he shouldn't be in love with her. But he is.

This is basically a self insert of my best friends living their best lives as SNL cast members. Tragic that its come to that point.

It goes until the present day, and it's a current work in progress. I'll only post the first couple chapters; each chapter is a different persons story, before culminating with all of them together. As he tries to get through his anxiety to get them to meet his boyfriend, things start going south. Never has he been shy about his sexuality, but how is he supposed to convince his family it isn't a phase if he can't even get them to talk to him properly? The characters in this story are based loosely on Bobby Moynihan's theory about the Weekend Update family, as well as throwing other things around that make sense revolving that.
