It was supposed to be a poem, A thank you and appreciation kind of poem. But I probably forgot that in the middle, So I end up blabbing for curious people. *grins*

Just a collection of one off short stories that i have done through the years, mostly for english assignments and what not. All I do is push people away and I’m great at saying goodbye. I have talent of just not trusting or opening doors to the pain. The bad part? That would have to be that fact that I open my mind to anything. I let myself see the world differently. I read books about these creatures that I wish were real, the things that I wish could happen. I let that over take me, while I push people away and build my barriers. I show my friends that I’m strong, that I’m a force to be reckoned with. I let the world see strength and I show no mercy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Haven Gold is anything but her name. She shows people only the bad side of her, not the side that stays up and reads countless books or the side that laughs with her family and close friend. Haven believes that in order to not have an encounter with pain, that she can’t let anyone into it. She’s lived in this one town her entire life of not submitting to anyone or anything. Although, when she turns seventeen and decides that one night in the woods won’t hurt her, it becomes the worst night of her life. Now with everything she thought could never happen, that it was only in the stories she read, Haven learns it’s not all tricks and treats. If only she knew how deep she was getting. Gifted with the magical ability of song, young Lunora sings to hatch and protect newborn dragons in a hatchery hidden in the 17th century Spanish Greatwood. Based on a excerpt from my novel-in-progress, this story is a historical rendition on events that took place in the commonwealth, England, during the seventeenth century. It's a loose adaptation, more of an alteration of events during Cromwell's dynasty. Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell, has abolished the practice of art, claiming its inherent connection to sin--for its imitations mimic the divinity of God. These events have initiated, and evidently perpetuated a feud between the Jesters and the Government. A year has passed since the conflict, however the notorious jester Balatros (whom has been imprisoned) indicates through his prophetic tongue, that the fight is not yet over... COPYRIGHT RESERVED!!!
