On the train, James was trying to breathe normally again. That scent. It was lingering in the air like sin.
He didn't want to be like the other Alphas - feral and desperate, growling at the mere thought of an Omega's heat.
But this was Severus.
And suddenly the idea of pressing him against a stone wall and-
"James," Remus said quietly, "you're sweating."
James blinked. His palms were slick.
Sirius raised a brow, smirking even though he himself was attracted. "You like him."
"I don't."
"You do," Sirius said, half-laughing, leaning in. "Our golden boy's got a hard-on for the snake."
James gritted his teeth. But his silence said everything.

In his private compartment, Severus lay stretched across the long seat, his robes unbuttoned slightly at the throat, skin pale and flushed. He breathed in the magic of the train - warm, metallic, alive.
But something pulsed inside him.
That pull.
Three of them.
Three Alphas had reacted.
He bit his lip, heat curling beneath his skin.
James. Sirius. Remus.
All of them wanted him.
And that was dangerous.
Because he wanted them, too.
