Angry with everything and everyone, Denver Washington allows to leave New York for Southern California after being convinced to do so by his father just after losing his mother during a merciless gang fight. All he wants is to avenge his mother's death on the rival gang, specifically their daughter that he has yet to meet but his plan is jeopardized when a fiery blue-eyed girl angrily enters into his life. Who is she? What happens next? Scared and hurt by her parents' decision to send her away to Southern California against her wishes, Sierra Seville allows to leave New York with a heavy heart scared of what might happen to her and how life might be without her parents by her side. This is until she is forced to sit next to an angry human in art class that apparently can't breathe without annoying the hell out of her. What does she do? And the question still stands, What. Happens. Next? Why are they similar yet so different, hm? "Colder, colder." The voice calls. Seville was always teased by her surroundings, as people called her hated names. Seville always ignored them, but then she realized one moment a major changed had jumped into her. Seville froze in an unexpected France snowstorm, but melted after. But after that, she felt that something changed. Not her temperature, but something else. "My, my..."

Jose is a young soldier in 19th century Seville. His life is comfortable enough till he receives a letter from his dying mother, who wishes for him to go home, so she may say goobye to him. She also may or may not have planned out the rest of his life for him. However, his shot at normalcy is shattered when he's framed for the murder of a gypsy girl, which ultimately triggers an unlikely chain of events, pushes Jose into clearing his name, uncovering secrets from people he thought he knew, and learning the most trustworthy of all might be those he's been warned against.
