Hermione is constantly being bullied throughout her years at hogwarts, at the school itself and at home. She is depressed but still tries her best at everything which is why she's a know-it-all. None of the other teachers seem to notice or care about her emotional, physical and mental deterioration... Well every teacher but Snape. what will happen when he catches her in the middle of trying to cut her wrists or attempt suicide? Will he be able to save her in time? Or will she continue to deteriorate until she succeeds in killing herself? (Disclaimer! I Own none of the characters in this story only the plot, which wasn't even my idea to begin with. And please do not attempt any of the depressing things that are mentioned in this story! And if you are feeling in anyway like attempting suicide please talk to someone about it! Minęło dziesięć lat od zakończenia wojny. Hermiona Granger, już dojrzała, z doświadczeniem w pracy w Ministerstwie Magii, decyduje się wrócić do Hogwartu jako nauczycielka Transmutacji. Jej celem jest nie tylko nauczanie, ale i znalezienie spokoju po latach intensywnych zmian w świecie czarodziejów. Severus Snape... przeżył. Po wojnie zniknął na długie lata, nie szukał kontaktu, ale został ostatecznie przywrócony do szkoły - wyłącznie na prośbę McGonagall i po intensywnej, prywatnej rehabilitacji. Niegdyś obiekt nieufności, dziś jest milczącym cieniem korytarzy, uczącym Eliksirów w sposób beznamiętny, lecz perfekcyjny. Hermiona i Severus nie mają wielu słów do siebie. Ale coś w ich milczeniu zaczyna się zmieniać. Czasem to jedno spojrzenie przy kolacji. Czasem to wspólne milczenie w bibliotece po godzinach, gdy każde z nich zanurzone jest w lekturze. Albo niewinne pytanie zadane podczas kolacji w pokoju wspólnym. Z czasem ta cisza przestaje być barierą - staje się przestrzenią porozumienia. Mówią niewiele, ale rozumieją się coraz głębiej. Snape nie ma już potrzeby być sarkastycznym - a Hermiona nie musi już niczego udowadniać. Ich relacja rozwija się nie z potrzeby miłości, ale z potrzeby zrozumienia.

Did she really love him?

The second wizarding war is finally over. Voldemort is defeated and his death eaters either dead or sentenced to life in Azkaban. Despite the many deaths the order of the phoenix has to mourn, a bit of normality returns to the lives of those who survived. Hogwarts has been rebuilt and now Harry, Hermione, Ron and Ginny are riding the train back there on September 1st, 1998. Will their last year finally be a peaceful one?
