Once a girl turns fifteen, her name gets put into a raffle. Once a guy turns 18, his name is also entered. The town match-maker chooses a boy and a girl and then on January 1 of each year, the new couple meets. The brides are forced to live in their new 'master's' house for twelve months. If by that time they aren't pregnant or have given birth, they are shunned from the community and some of the girls are killed. Of course, it isn't the husbands fault. Living in a sexist community where women are treated like chattel is disgusting, but more so for 14 year old feminist Jessica Lee. In a society where men rule and woman follow behind, how will Jessica survive holding her tongue through marriage and what is supposed to follow?

This wasn't the story you could tell kids to make them sleep better at night. This wasn''t the story that would inspire people. This wasn't a happy story nor was it a sad story. I wasn't Cinderella and he wasn't my Prince. This wasn't a fairy tale. It was however my story. It was the story that I held near my heart for the longest time. boyXboy...

The unspoken truth is about a girl Ella Hoax. She comes from an exceedingly wealthy family. Who is lavished with gifts and love. But...Ella hates it. She hates the fact that it's men who can work. She hates the fact that her sister loves this life. She hates the fact that her father expects her to be prime, proper and lady like. But most importantly she hates arranged marriages. What happens when Ella has an arranged marriage? What happens when she doesn't find her future husband interesting at all but she does find her future brother-in-law intersting? What happens when her childhood memories resurface? What happens especially when the unspoken truth comes out? Love, hate, betrayal, tears and bravery. That's what happens.

Many people especially women (especially feminists) think the bible is misogynistic or hate women because the while the bible does have some female heros and main female characters in the bible the bible seems to mostly be male oriented or a book mostly dominated by male characters and also how the bible portrays male headship over it's female characters in the bible. While many men in the bible may abuse their authority over women in a negative way this doesn't portray the heart of God (who ordained men to be the head in a society and even in the church) who is holy but this portrays the wicked hearts of the men who abused their power over their female counterparts either physically, sexually, or emotionally or all three. This book is written in both English and Spanish!

Struggling to pull away, i grabbed at the rapidly tightening arm. A low chuckle vibrated against my shoulder blades as one of his heavy legs tangled itself with mine, his nose trailing from the dip in between my shoulder blades to my neck. "Going somewhere, love?" his husky voice mummers, the arm around my middle tightening as his hand trailed under my shirt to rest flat against my stomach. "Nah," he growled out, answering for me, as his other arm snaked itself under my head so my cheek is resting against his bicep, his other hand pulling me closer to his bare chest. "You're not going anywhere".

When 15-year old skater girl Riley is forced to move to move to England with her parents (and her pretty-boy brother, Trent) and leave her best friends Mason and Lee - not to mention the beloved Ridgeway Skatepark, she is less than pleased. After all, who even knows if London has skate parks? However, when Riley arrives in London, she discovers that they do have skate parks...including one called Pole Hill, home of the elite Uxbridge skateboarders - more importantly the all-male skateboarders. When Riley has to deal with sexist skater boys, overprotective brothers and a particularly devious boy, she's left wondering if she moving to London was really a good thing at all. After all, she's just a skater girl. © Tolulah, 2014

The economy is finally stable after the country of Allinia is saved from the brink of destruction by the creation of the peaceful military organization known as The Haven. Every little boy grows up wanting to be a soldier, and that dream becomes possible when word gets out that new soldiers are being scouted. Women and young girls are instead left to leech off the profit of the men of their households instead of working, in a world that has not progressed past blatant sexism. Some women are able to find a way past this rule, but none as blatant as Zara Albi.

A poem about the issue of groups or classes of people allowing the discrimination of them to keep them from rising to their full potential. An observation from experience in workplaces and such of how minorities or any other class of people or group, often out of fear and not wanting to attract abusive attention...will shrink back on their shine, talent, voice, and abilities...in order to stay small...as to not draw hate from the "ruling class". It sheds light on how the individuals in these protected classes often do rise high in business, entertainment, media, medicine, law, academia, sports, and the like...is from their ability to block the lies and the denial of the ruling class that is put in images and words to affect our confidence and self-worth...those individuals never believe it, rise above it, and focus on the talents, abilities, and gifts they know they have within...and, therefore, their balloon rises to the heights they desire and beyond...for it is all about energy. If you keep the energy within on the level and in alignment with who God made you...rather than believing the lies meant to stop you from being the best you can...then whatever they think can't touch you because in this world we operate with vibrational currency...not social constructs...though they try to make us think we do...if you can produce an amazing feeling, product, service, or idea...you can rise financially...above all the bullshit...no matter who you are; no matter what industry you're in.
