This is the story of a sixteen years old, Elegance Jones. This is not a coming of age story, for Ele was forced long ago to become grown. She struggles trying to put her home life in the shadows and rules it off as her being one of the "unfortunate" among her peers. She knows not of what love is and can only imagine what it feels like.
