Basically a slimeknight / Avery x Derek fanfic, except it's a parallel universe where Derek survives after the events of DAWTDE (Destroying a world that doesn't exist-MADE BY WIFIES ON YOUTUBE!), and he and Avery both cope with the events before finally meeting eachother. (P.S. Contents in the chapters may not add up to the lore from the arg, but it's just my own take + I'm trying to cope so pls bare with me and let's cope together, fellow sfawtde/dawtde fans.)

He doesn't believe any of it, but any attempt to leave or speak out would lead to his swift execution. So, he has spent a few years planning his escape, biding his time. But then, he is forced to serve as a guard to the village's "prince." With no other choice, Derek accepts. But he didn't expect what Avery, the prince, is like... One small note about this story: This doesn't actually take place in Minecraft, so they are humanoid instead of their Minecraft skins. (No AI was used in this story, just my work alone.)
