Die Geschichte setzt irgendwo zwischen der zweiten und der vierten Staffel der Serie an. Es handelt von so einer Art alternativen Realität, wie es aussehen könnte, wenn einige Schlüsselmoment, bzw. ein bestimmter nicht stattgefunden hätte. Die zeitlichen Geschehnisse sind etwas durcheinander geworfen, aber das ist Absicht, damit die Gründe für verschiedene Entscheidungen klar sind. General Jack O'Neill is stuck at the Pentagon, and not happy about it. Something's wrong, but his new secretary can't quite figure him out. Life in DC isn't easy at the best of times, but recently, O'Neill's mood has taken a turn for the worse. Sam/Jack established relationship, original character introduction, angsty angst with a hint of gutter.
