'Shades of Cool' follows the stories of two troubled teenagers; Elijah West, a high school drop out, and Eloisa Heart, a rebellious student. His mum always wanted him to be the best; get the best grades, go to the best university and become a doctor, but Elijah had other plans. After stealing a car and running away from home, Elijah finds himself 7 hours away from home and completely broke. No where to go, he begins to many side jobs from not the most trustworthy of people, only digging him deeper in the mess he created. Her parents were always on working trips, with no real guidance, Eloisa was left to her own devices. Known the the party queen, Eloisa was able to get popular real quick, but only to disappoint her parents further. Eloisa never really cared about school, she was really only there for the social aspects and because her parents forced her. She has no real idea with what she wants do do with herself, and has never even considered her future.
