Jace and Clary's daughter Adley Herondale, who is 15, is growing up as a shadowhunter just like her dad. She doesn't just have shadowhunter demons following after her. Adley has her own demons inside of her that she hides. Her family has helped trained her the best they can, will she be able to use her knowledge well enough to save her life and family?

**This is continuing the sequel to this so if you haven't read it yet I suggest you do now please.** Adley Herondale has been through hell but she's never been through a loss. Adley has now lost her first love, Caspian Erix, in front of her and with her family. Adley deals with it by having her families back and training non stop, day and night. All she will have during this dark time are flashbacks and heartbreak. Her mom and dad are doing everything they can to help their daughter through this dark time but will their love for her be enough? Her uncles and aunt are there for her but is their family love strong enough?

This is continuing on from the cliffhanger from the first book of my Shadowhunters books, so I would suggest to read that first before this one. The demon that possessed Jace and Clary's daughter, Adley Herondale, is somehow still alive when they thought they killed it for good. It's going after new victims and possibly the rest of the family. Maybe even Adley again? Will everyone survive or is this the end of the Shadowhunter line for good?
