As Jace is diagnosed with an irreversible disease he has to choose whether he wants to stay in hospital and increase his life expectancy to a few months or if he wants to take a very severe medication which will lead to his death in approximately twelve days when he takes the first pill the day after the doctor's appointment. Much to his discomfort, Magnus Bane, the son of Asmodeus, starts to talk to him, turning out not to be as cruel as his father. Will the Shadowhunter be able to hide his identity and conflicted feelings?

Tears clung to an infants face while her hair hit her face with unforgiving fury. Her feet were numb due to the frigid temperatures. Snow clung to her bare legs and feet while the Frost Bite set in deep within her nerves. She couldn't feel her toes. She couldn't feel her feet or hands. Nothing.
