To compensate, the 'Shadows' were attended by 'Living Dolls' who served as their faces. Afina is the beloved face of her Shadow Master. Attending her mistress, reading her mysteries, and cleaning up after her, Afina was the perfect definition of a Living Doll. But with the newest generation, secrets are unravelling and the heads of the family are getting restless. Afina and her master are forced to face a dark truth that could unravel everything they had been taught.

What if there were two other pairs that took part in the original story? Two pairs that would walk alongside Kate and Emilico down the dark, dangerous path of revealing the secrets of the Shadows house. Secrets that reside in both the realm of Shadow masters and Living dolls. (I don't own Shadows house. So-ma-to is the owner. all I own is my original characters that I wrote into Shadows house )
