After another attempted failure in creating a cure for his sickly granddaughter, Maria, Professor Gerald Robotnik was getting desperate. His star pupil, Doctor Maci Garcia, offered a solution, creating the Ultimate Cure, Project: EMBER. Under the guidance of her professor, Doctor Maci was successful in creating Project: EMBER. Not ready to be introduced to the others, Ember was kept away in a different place in the Ark. When her test results came up with a high success rate for a cure, she was soon introduced to Maria, Abe, and Shadow. And thus a somewhat beautiful friendship blossomed. But it didn't last for long.

Shadow had just gotten off of work from GUN after doing all the missions he had to cover for Rouge and omega, he had to go and grab some groceries while he was still out so that's what he did. Sonic the Hedgehog, a franchise with plenty of debated Eras and even more Continuities, some far more dangerous then others for an isekai victim as human as the egg-headed main antagonist himself with no super-intelligence or cheats or systems to speak of. Just meta-knowledge, lots of it, and by extension, plenty he can do with it. Sonic Films? Fine. Sonic X, Boom, and Prime? Manageable. Gameverse? Dicey, but doable. Archie and Fleetway Comics? No thanks. Sonic SatAM and Underground? Better than dealing with any EXEs, still wouldn't even if his second life depended on it. Shame that he has no choice in the matter. At least he can decide what to do after the fact, make the most of this situation he's stuck in. So what to do then? Join GUN? As if. Go the Chris Thorndyke route? Pass. Babysit the cinnamon roll-haired hologram that got carried along for the ride? Meta supposes that, exploiting plot holes aplenty, and causing chaos for all things canon will have to do.

Two of the hedgehog brothers named Sonic and Y/n the blue and Navy alien hedgehogs, who can move at supersonic speeds and super strengths, teams up with a small-town sheriff Tom Wachowski to stop the government scientist Dr. Robotnik, who will stop at nothing to catch him for the world domination and being allied with Tails the fox and Knuckles the Echidna and sometimes being allied with Shadow the Hedgehog if he lets go of the pain and helps the hedgehog brothers to stop Gerald Robotnik

How can they all cheer for these humans in suits fighting each other after what they did to her? She wanted to kill everyone on this planet, but a certain green haired fanboy foiled her plans by simply tripping onto her? "He wants to be a hero..."
