Her heart beat slowly as time screeched to a halt. Time. Following the events of Sonic Adv. 2 and the destruction of ARK, Shadow secludes himself on Angel Island so that he can gather his thoughts. Or so he thinks. His peace is quickly shattered by the arrival of Amy and before he knows it, Shadow is pulled into one of Eggman's schemes. Now he and the Freedom Fighters are in a race against time to save the island, and one of their closest friends. A group of sonic characters come together again showing off their new skills and abilities with even a new ally who comes to join in on the team. This perspective finally comes from Shadow the hedgehogs point of view or at least most of it. Amy Rose learns of the love she never knew she could have. Shadow understands the world around him more than ever. Sonic continues to be himself. Tails is still tails but with his girlfriend! Knuckles continues punching everything around him. And stick is there for Amy when she needs someone to talk to which means she is a big part of the story.

Say Something (Shadamy) Losing your voice at a young age can be summed up quite simply, it sucks. Especially when talking is something you love to do. Amy Rose lost the ability to speak when she was six years old, in other words, she became mute at a young age. Not only did she lose her voice, she lost her friends too. Not that they didn't like her even though she couldn't speak, but she was the one who put the distance between them. Amy didn't want anyone to get close to her except for her brother. Besides, not many of them knew the truth about her and her family . . . and the truth could put them all in danger. The only one who can save her might be the person she hurt the most. If she can't defeat her biggest enemy, she may not survive very long.

Amy is back from a year long trip to grow, figured out what she truly wants in life, and decides to throw herself a "Welcome Home" party, inviting all her friends, including someone she has recently been having feelings for; Shadow.
