Shadow and Kari travel to the quantum realm along with their three friends Sonic Manic and Silver

After an incident at San Fransisco, sonic decides to invite his friends including shadow for a little vacation into the metropolis city on planet mobius, but little did shadow know that this vacation wouldn't be so pleasant after all...

Kari explains her whole story with her crazy roommates!

After Shadow had a huge battle with Luna (Zara's sister) He made a choice to sacrifice himself to save the earth. But thanks to Kari the cat's tears of healing Shadow came back to life and him and Kari reunited once again. But when Shadows inhibitor rings disappear, he sees his old friend Maria again and his fathers tells him he's ready for a new adventure in a new world.

When Kari faces new danger it's up to her and her three best friends to stop the new villain and save her. Along with the help from Silver the Hedgehog and Zara the Cat.
