After the catastrophe that was known as Panda's Palace opening night, Squid loses everything, including Kindness. Now, being forced to defend himself in court, Squid reflects on his past actions, the night he lost Kindness, and faces his consequences. This fanfic switches between the past and the present, which will be indicated by this: --

Squid wakes up in a run down version of Shady Oaks. buildings are in ruin... Almost all life is dead and decayed... Can Squid find out what happened to the server? And can he save the remaining members before they are lost in the darkness of their own tragedies...?

Pt 2 of Demons and Tubers Shady Oaks needs to return, but that can't happen so long as Kindness remains on the server. DanTDM has volunteered to enact a plan made by everyone to stop the Demonic Sword once and for all.

As his poor practice of self-care and clear loss of sleep begins to show to his friends, Dan(TDM) leads a mission with their friends to set things right, cheer up his friend, and maybe fill the emptiness in James' heart and home. But perhaps the emptiness in James' heart can be filled by filling the emptiness in the heart of one he's now forgotten.
