Chapter 1. How It Began I'm on my way to the literal heart if Jesus to see Gus and Isaac. Suddenly I get a call from my mother. Mom: Hey Sweetie. Me: Hey mom. What's up? Mom: We're inviting my parents to dinner tonight sweet heart. Me: Ugh mom, do we have to!?!? Mom: YES. It's important. It seemed urgent so I hung out with Gus for a while and then went home to get dressed. Gus came because I didn't want to be there alone with my grandparents. I wore my purple and black shirt with jeans. I wasn't really into dressing up aside from dinners with Gus. I hear a knock on the door and murmuring. I go to answer.
