Rumi is a sweet girl from a family of civil rights activists that are very clear about what they expect of her. Joel is a nice guy from a wealthy family that has no issue imposing their will on anyone, including him. When they meet, the chemistry is as instantaneous as the longing that they have for one another. But Rumi's family isn't going go for her bringing home a white guy, let alone one from a local family that they have been fighting against for longer than either have even been born. And Joel is no better predicament seeing as how his family has already chosen his wife and mapped out his life. This is just a place to turn my thoughts to ink in the soulful world of poetry. Will forever be ongoing, as I don't think I'll ever stop writing poems.

JULIET CURTIS HATED SHAKESPEARE. She hated the guy from the moment she found out her mother named her after the starring lady in one of his tragic tales. She couldn't wrap her head around how something could take such a dark turn in just a few pages. It seemed unrealistic, purely a fantasy. Oh how wrong she was. Her own life would take a tragic turn just like the Shakespearean plays. There were no jousts, beheadings, or poison, but there was death and more than one. Most of them she had no involvement in, but one. Dallas Winston was dead because Juliet loved him and he loved her back. Dallas loved very little, but when he did he loved hard. It's what made his end so ill-fated, Juliet's just the same. Their tale was truly just another Shakespearean tragedy.
