Things have changed for Bex, Shane, Hassani, and Morales. Lazarus is dead, personal feelings are coming to the surface, Bex in charge of the recovery task force, and now that they know that the Pit was creating serial killers, their tactics for catching them will have to change. When they find out that four Pit escapees had purposely been sent by Lazarus to test their skills and that they were stopped by a masked vigilante, they decide that this person could be helpful with catching the rest of the killers. They didn't know though, that this vigilante was a teenage girl. Amy Parker is a fourteen-year-old girl living in a town called New Raven in Maine. Her mother, Maddie Parker, was the captain of the local police department and died when Amy was eight. After that Amy started to train herself to not only catch her mom's killer, but to also keep her legacy alive. When Bex and her team show up asking for her help, she agrees to go with them because that's what her mother would do. She has no idea how this moment has changed her life. This life isn't easy on anyone. There are secrets, brutal crime scenes, and hard decisions to make. This team of five stand by each other though. Hassani and Morales become like the older brother and sister Amy needed after her mother died, and Bex and Shane can't help but see her as a daughter. All of their lives may have changed, but they have each other to get through and understand these changes. Trigger warning: abduction, blood, dead bodies, violence, killing, death, mutilation.
