The hockey rivals Shane and Ilya are starting their freshmen of high school on the junior varsity team. And they are still the same as they were in middle school, bickering and bantering. But Shane starts to feel a change when he starts to get jealous of his rivals situationship. Then when feelings get involved what happens? There is no rulebook on crushing on the guy who not only who you wanna be but be with?

Heated Rivalry, but instead of hockey teams, opposing pop stars fighting for stardom? Shane Hollander loved for his complex and eloquent lyrics and storytelling, versus Ilya Rozanoff, adored for his raw talent and vocals-especially his live perfomances. Does the story play the same way in a different setting, a different type of "player"? Only I will tell. Enjoy!

hockey has rules, ilya rosanov usually breaks them. but falling for someone he's supposed to hate might be the one rule that destroys everything. a story told entirely through ilya's perspective, the jokes, denial, the jealousy, and the feelings he refuses to admit.

This novella parody is a work of fan fiction, born from imagination and deep respect for the characters' original context. The ending you're about to read is my personal interpretation-one of many possible paths for Shane and Ilya's journey. Other fans might envision different outcomes, some more hopeful, some perhaps even more heart-wrenching. Their story, like all great love stories, remains beautifully open to interpretation. P.S.
