As a child, you'd visited your grandfathers farm. You'd sit on the porch, visit the library or play in the playground with other children. An older boy, Marnie's nephew, was your favorite playmate. Despite your ages being 13 and 15, he loved to tease you. You loved hanging out with him in the secret chicken coop he owned, raising these powder blue chickens. "Trust me..when I'm older, they'll be neon blue! Just watch!" You'd developed quite the crush on your playmate. While you visited pelican town every summer, you didn't know your 14th summer there would be your last. You and your friend promised to stay in touch, but never did.. Nearly 10 years later, upon your grandfathers passing, and receiving the will to his farm, you return to pelican town. Seeing some man at the bar, leaned against the wall, orange lighting flickering across his stubbled face, you recognized him! Jogging up to him and greeting your old friend, you were disappointed. "Why are you talking to me? I don't know you." He grumbled, his breath heavy with alcohol. How can you make him remember? How can you reunite? Will your years of pining finally come to a climax?

A short story featuring Shane and you, the farmer. It's that time again. You have to return to the mines for resources, an activity that you know Shane hates you doing, especially alone. You have no other option though, you desperately need the materials for repairs and tool upgrades. When he finds out you have to go, Shane instantly expresses his worry for your safety, leading to a confession that you never even considered. (cover art is not mine, creds to the artist)

Pretty self explanatory. Probably gonna write this as how I'm experiencing the game? Which has some angst because I had a hard time choosing between Harvey and Shane, so get ready for that. Uh, I don't write stuff often, so bear with me. Cover art isn't mine, I don't know who it belongs to :(

Shane is my favourite character from stardew valley and I wanted to make an x reader of him. especially since all the stories I've read of him the reader is all introverted, and overly empathetic of Shane. I wanted a character more like me! extroverted and petty. so I made my own >:)

New schools and new friends are never easy, and her snarky biology lab partner wasn't making it any easier, but damn if she wasn't determined to get that 4.0. Anna wants an A, Shane just wants to survive high school. They both have a lot of baggage, and sometimes the universe just forces broken people together.
