Ryan was acting more distressed than Shane has ever seen him, one silent night seemed to have changed everything.

Shane and Ryan spend an almost sleepless night in the Haunted Home on Avery Court, earning it's name by being the 'haunted home' of an oddly friendly ghost, Olive Thomas. Paranormal conspirators have said to have witnessed Olive doing mundane activities around the house such as baking cakes and cookies, dancing to old show tunes, and attempting to get two ignorant ghostbusters to finally realise their feelings for one another. (Basically a Shane/Ryan story told through the perspective of a ghost in one of the houses they're investigating)

amour; a secret or ilicit love affair or lover. shane needs money, and tutoring seems to be the perfect thing for him. he's your typical broke junior in a small town highschool. when the job opens up, he knows it's perfect. he can talk about history for 2 hours straight. but when ryan, the quiet but sporty kid (who's mixed in with the jocks who constantly harass shane, mind you) his teaching becomes a little more difficult. The hot new kid that frustrates Ryan on a daily basis may or may not be a werewolf. Ryan Bergara is in his junior year and president of Buzzfeed High School's supernatural club; Shane Madej is the new kid that's started showing up to meetings only to shit on Ryan's belief in the paranormal. Normally, he would be annoyed with such a skeptical asshole-- except, said asshole is also really fucking attractive, leading to a weird mixture of frustration and attraction Ryan has no idea how to deal with. Then Ryan notes that there's one subject that Shane doesn't have anything to say about: werewolves. His discomfort at the mention of the subject and consistent absences on full moons is more than enough to pique Ryan's curiosity. Whatever's going on, Ryan is going to get to the bottom of it, even if it kills him.

"I think I'll wait another year." Shane's in love with Ryan, and will get around to telling him. One of these days.
