To get her father out from having to partake in the war Mulan is gifted the offer of becoming a concubine for the emperor, which she accepts. But what happens when a new general comes in backs her up? Will she be swept off her feet bringing dishonor or will she save China with her little marry band of believers?

Several months after rescuing China from Qi-gong's threats of war, Mulan and her group have settled back into their old lives- Although quite different from before- enjoying the peace they fought so hard to protect. However, as honorable as their quest for love may have been, lying is no honorable deed, and deception comes with a price. An old enemy arises, and a new set of challenges takes Mulan back onto the road in a harrowing journey that makes her, and her companions question everything, including their love, Loyalty, even the very beliefs that brought them together. Will Mulan continue to follow her heart, or has the heart proven deceitful?

This work of fan-fiction revolves around the shaolin monk--and the ancestor of--Kung Loa. Starting with the defeat of the great Kung Loa at the hands of the Shokan: Goro. MK: The temple of light is my own retelling of Kung Loa's story and shouldn't be taken too seriously, as I'm altering a few things here and there. Enjoy and let me know what you think. :)

This is a story made solely out of respect and love for Disney's 'Mulan' and the original 'The Ballad of Mulan'. I did take some creative measures for the story so that it wouldn't be a play-by-play of the movie. I don't own any of these characters and I don't own any art accompanying the story. If there was one thing Shang Qinghua would say is the best thing about his job at the bar he works for, it would be sexiest, dreamiest, hottest, any other word for attractive, man that comes into the bar three times a week at the exact same time. He was hot, nice, rich and checked off every metaphorical box that Shang Qinghua had created for his dream man. What he wants to know now is, how the hell was he supposed to know that his ideal man was actually a crazy powerful mafia boss and that he may have, completely unintentionally, became his wife(?) according to his underlings?! In this story based off of the Disney movie Mulan, Shan Yu's sister tags along with the Hun Army, unaware of the injustice they will carry out upon her brothers orders. She is an expert in assassination and spying, but wishes no harm to the Chinese citizens and soldiers whom are innocent. Even as an enemy, will she help save China alongside Ping (Mulan), Shang, and other friends? Just possibly, she might find love as well. *Disclaimer* I do not own any of the characters from Mulan, and the only characters I own are Suan and any other future characters not made in the movie.
