Zhou Zishu is sent off to Kunzhou under Prince Jin's orders to eradicate martial artists, especially secret societies, which may pose a threat to Prince Jin when he conquers that land. When he finds out about the Ghost Valley, he knows that it must be what the prince was talking about. But in a twist of fate, the Ghost Valley Master, Wen Kexing, along with his servant, Gu Xiang, and him are left to fend for themselves after being attacked by mysterious assassins. Note: I might use and alter some scenes from WOH

This isn't the first time he's used this trick, Zishu thinks as the idea occurs to him. Despite the drug men still howling into the air around them, the chill of the coffin home cutting into his bones, he smiles. Without the help of Drunk Like a Dream, he recalls a memory, though he quickly dismisses it in favor of helping his companion regain his senses. He isn't expecting the man before him to widen his eyes indignantly and echo the accusation playing in his mind from so long ago.

Wen Kexing had a dream. In that dream, the things he wanted to achieve had been accomplished, the hatred that had long been plaguing his heart had been settled. To finally stop killing, to finally return to the world of humans, for the first time in his life, he no longer needed to spend every second of his waking and sleeping hour strangled by grudge and restless vigilance. There were many things he lost, but along the way he gained many others. At last, he could spend the rest of his life peacefully, together with that person whose existence was the most dear to him. Yet who could foresee that the day of happiness would turn into a tragedy? It was as though the joy he thought he had obtained was nothing more than a fleeting dream. To be thrown from the peak of bliss into the depth of misery, at the bottom of despair, he was told that that his most precious person would soon leave before him to the afterworld.

Zhou Zishu had a dream. In that dream, he received a chance to alter destiny. To prolong a life that was about to end, to stop time for eternity in exchange of worldly pleasures. The stake was high, but Zhou Zishu was not afraid. As long as a certain someone was by his side, be it braving the wind and the frost, to live under the sun or in the depth of darkness, his heart would be at peace. Yet who knows that the salvation he obtained was paid at the price of someone dear to him. Even if one could live on like a deity, if his soulmate is not by his side, then for what reason does he live?

Zhou Zishu was leading a very happy married life with his husband Han Ying and son, Cheng Ling. That was, until they came to K city around three years ago. . <<<mpreg wen kexing>>> .
