A Shanks x reader story. I do not own One Piece, though, there are some OCs in here for the story's sake. (Reader) had stowed away on a fishing boat that ended up being attacked by pirates. Unable to escape they end up in the ocean and saved by a different pirate crew (not the Red Hair Pirates) and ended up joining them. Through unfortunate events they end up on the Red Force and have to figure out their new life for a second time and their feelings for the captain. The cover was made by me.

If the love is untrue, their shells will disappear in due time, although it's usually painful. They will go on to find their lover with what their hearts desire, not what their mark decides. If no love is found, you will be reborn to have another chance. If you are successful in your time, you will live a long-lasting life with your lover, returning to the necropolis after you die. Of course, one girl seems to never die. Her mark gives her so much spiritual strength, even if her head is sliced off, she'll still be alive and kicking, spitting out curses while re-attaching her head.
