He desperately tried to find her but her scent soon vanished, he would have to wait until he sensed his daughter's first transformation and hope his alpha would allow him to find her. Akela spent five years in the foster system until one night, on a full moon, she changed. Scared of what was happening to her, she ran. Eventually, she found her way to a small village called Stoneybridge and it didn't take long for Daniel and Emma Smith to sense the new wolfblood on their territory. At first when they sense the new wolfblood on their territory they were angry but when they found out that it was only a ten-year-old Akela they felt bad for the young cub. The Smiths took Akela in and treated her as one of their own. Everything was going great for Akela with her sister Maddy and her two best friends Tom and Shannon. Being different is not easy, especially when you are a young teen. Top it off with being an orphan, getting moved from family to family, knowing it won't last and you'll be back at the group home in less the two weeks. Yeah, being different isn't easy. At least you have some things that you can still relate to with your peers at school. Simple things like your accent, your silly slang words that everyone just seems to know as if its a giant inside joke! Different isn't always easy, but perhaps it isn't always bad either.

Shannon one of Maddie smith friend has a sister name Kate. when Kate turned 13 she started to run off every night on full moons. Kate turned into a wolf every full moon or when she was mad. soon after Rhydian moves to stoneybrige Maddy turned. When Kate saw Maddy and Rhydian turn she was so over joyed she howl not caring if the saw her or if everyone else on the Field Trip could here her from the hotel.

This is my rewrite of Wolfblood season 2's episode 'The mottled poppy'. It includes strong hints for Maddian, and is rated for main character injury.
