Hey! This is gonna be home to a lot of New Albion one shots so enjoy!

Rainu, a soldier from the Kratu army, torn from grief after his lover, Mir, died while they were trying to hunt down Compulsory Workforce Opportunity Recruits, that were ordered for execution by command. He goes to the Rhazzis for help to learn how to work necromancy. Kate narrates while playing the recordings made by Rainu while he discovers how and why necromancy is such a forbidden science. (tw: death, descriptions of gore/rot etc. violence.) This story is based on The Puppetshade Chronicles by Paul Shapera. Rainu, Mir, and the Narrator are both characters by him. This is only meant to be a little "what if" scenario.
