Shards Stories

كايل فير طفل مراهق في 16 من عمره، فقد عائلته ولكنه لا يتذكر كيف ومتى، تستقيظ عنده قوة غريبة ليكتشف بعد ذلك أنه يرى خيوط تربط كل شخص بموته، لذا ينظم لجمعية الرنين، لكي يتدرب و يتطور أكثر ليكشف سر إختفاء عائلته وهو لا يتذكر ذلك.

Written as an attempt to rhyme rhythmically.

Because life is not always smooth like butter on a hot croissant. And for those moments you need to feel shitty. So that's what I did, and I wrote about it. (There can be some dark and depressing words in here, so be warned.) :) -LvD

Glass isn't the only thing that's breakable...

A story involving creatures that tries to invade the world. But these magicians are the ones chosen or volunteered to be protectors. Will they be able to survive or will they all fail miserably. (This is not professionally written, there will be grammar error and such. As this is considered a first draft.) More importantly I concentrate on how I feel rather than how the story looks. So I hope you will be interested in reading it. Even if you don't it is fine. Some dialogues while be written in speech form.

When loyalty strikes your heart and promises made you inspired and when the urge to know the truth makes feel you alive. Everything is so perfect and it feels like the time is so fast. But time is like a fire that's slightly burning your soul and it brings pleasure until you burned out and see your loyalty and promises broken.

Ethan Channing is your average fourteen-year-old boy. He fantasizes of becoming the next Usain Bolt, studies hard and maintains A's and B's in all of his classes. He has a mother, a father and a seven-year-old sister named Mitzi who he loves dearly. After all, Ethan Channing is your average fourteen-year-old boy. That is, he was until The Incident. When his mother is mysteriously killed by an anonymous assassin and all of his memories go missing, Ethan is framed and charged with first degree murder, sentencing him to twenty-five years in prison. It is up to Ethan to escape solitary confinement, journey into uncharted territories and recover the memories he had lost in order to find his mother's true assassin.

A war is on the verge of breaking out, a war that will involve all the kingdoms of Pentara. But that is the least of the problems as a beast, Deatuk, has been awoken and is bent on devouring all life. Nine will come together, but they are constantly at each others throats. Can they work out their differences before their world is lost?

This is a dialogue only romance short story for a contest I'm entering. This takes place in dystopian Earth in the future (technically the kingdom of Lyghtia from my story "Crystal Shards") and is between Charlotte and Isaac. It is a twist or adaptation of Rapunzel. There came a point in time When I couldn't even write a single line. Blank pages scared me. Typing then erasing what I've written frightened me.
