This is the story about a young girl, who had too much burden to carry. You'll pick up the shards of her life along the story and at the end you will maybe understand why the shards broke her.

What is she going to do about the drastic changes happening in her life? When the impossible becomes possible? When she snuffs out the truth behind her childhood, the childhood that will change her life and her friends forever? Read to find out... WARNING: Some parts of the story may not make much sense because throughout the chapters I have been writing I changed the story in a slightly different direction, so please if you see some information in earlier chapters that is different in later chapters please comment so I can change it as fast as possible. **Sequel to Shards** Growing up means giving up childish beliefs and disillusionment. Growing up means becoming aware of the world outside of your comfort zone. Growing up means giving up everything and everyone you've ever believed in. It's been almost a year since Jaylee woke up in a hospital bed, with no idea who she was, and unexplained anger she fought to control. She made new friends, and found the old. She not only regained her memories, but became more than she'd ever been. Only to have it all taken away from her. After inadvertently trading her and Shay's freedom for Dale's, Jaylee finds herself back in the Compound. Her nightmares are real again, and waking up is no-longer an escape. While her friends on the outside fight tooth and nail to free her, she finds herself sliding into a different mindset, and getting to know the people she never really gave a chance.

There is no story you can tell about yourself. There is no fairytale with the magical beginning and happily ever after. There is only shards. Shards of your life. Shards that seem random and incoherent at first time but when you look closer you understand how connected they are.
