"Are you sure? I thought I'd be sleeping on the floor anyway," Mike smiles.
"Yeah," I whisper, trying to ignore the smell of cologne on his neck as he pulls me closer. It never felt weird how he always found a way to make contact with me but sometimes I couldn't separate him from his actions. I read into everything when we were growing up.
"So, no bar tonight? Can we eat first before we argue with everyone about what to do?" Mike says, letting go of me and sitting on the bed. I laugh at his smirk. "I've never been to New York so you have to tell me what to do."
After the events of Stranger Things, Mike and Will are still friends. They've both moved away and moved on from the last six years in Hawkins but when Mike goes to visit Will in New York, they both realize some things never change.
Told from both perspectives.
