The book follows the movies original story with the addition of- Y/n. The story plays out differently with the addition to the group, the ending possibly being along the same tracks. Though the book numbs out the more kid movie jokes, it still remains a group of 13 year olds trying to save the world. 13 is a rough age and maybe finding some wildcard of a boy makes it a bit easier. Or harder.

Caleb Denverson is a 7 year old boy who dreamed of Planet Drool and of course Sharkboy and Lavagirl and writes it in his dream journal. one day he went to planet drool to stop it from dying Caleb replaces Max in this story I don't own Sharkboy and Lavagirl
