a Retrorade/Shark Co. fanfiction with the same story style as the Terminator films (note: that was the original intention but honestly i'm kinda winging the story) a boy only wishes one thing for his birthday, an artificial being he can call his best pal: a synthetic being known as 'Digit'. when everything goes wrong and the entities revolt, Digit promises the boy's mother that he will protect him even at the cost of his own life. many skirmishes litter the United States, some can be avoided, many have to be waded through. will Digit managed to get Finn to safety? or will he die trying?
